Technology is revolutionising the way enterprises manage their resources and security. From access control to stock management, tablet technology and office kiosks are able to improve operations and efficiency by streamlining multiple offerings into one sleek tablet enclosure.
An interactive kiosk can be an access point for everyone in the office, providing resources and answers to questions quickly and with ease. The tablet enclosure and iPad kiosk can also be used for access control with simple device integration such as a scanner for employee ID or visitor badges. It will control entry into the room, improving security.
The kiosk can be used as an access point to view the office calendar, this gives visibility to which members of staff are in the warehouse on each day.
Warehouse kiosks make it easy to log and manage requests, as well as viewing staff on the shop floor.
Scanner devices can be integrated to log, manage and check stock.
Interactive kiosks are not only be used to carry out health and safety tasks, such as temperature screening and hand sanitiser dispensing, but also for effective digital signage in the warehouse.
Handheld kiosks can be used for easy movement around the warehouse and for simple navigation of the stock.

Traditional time and attendance systems don’t provide live information, allow for time theft and don’t directly associate ID with the contractor. The digital sign in kiosk prevents time theft, providing a reliable record for health and safety purposes. This has been a very interesting project to work on and is typical of the huge increase in deployment of digital workforce management solutions we are seeing being deployed across many sectors. Working on a project of this scale presents challenges due to every site being different. We therefore had to design a very modular and flexible solution.Peter Thompson – Director, imageHOLDERS
