imageHOLDERS work with Queen’s University Belfast on Self-Service Library Kiosks
The tablet kiosk securely encloses the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 9.7” within the Expo 10 enclosure. The enclosures were deployed within the Biomedical and the Medical library.
The Samsung tablet kiosks function as an information point within each library. The tablet displays opening hours, FAQ’s and rules for borrowing books. Each kiosk also has the ability to search the QCat library which stores all of the library’s books, e-books, journals and databases.
The libraries each have designated PC’s which search the library catalogue. The tablet kiosks were deployed to supersede these terminals with a space effective, low maintenance solution.

The kiosks that have been deployed so far are a resounding success. Since the deployment of the kiosks we have been able to offer students a convenient information point, as well as a handy way to use our Library catalogue. Visually the kiosk is wonderful, and our Queen’s University Belfast logo printed on the front is a nice finishing touch. Overall we are very happy with the product.”
