Sales Account Manager/ Senior Account Manager/ Business Development Manager

Job Description

imageHOLDERS are looking for Account Managers to join our growing international sales team and help us achieve our goals.

imageHOLDERS is a fast growing design and manufacturing SME working in a global market within the kiosk and enclosure sector. We sell into multiple sectors, delivering our solutions across the globe with partners and resellers. We are looking to recruit high calibre and experienced account managers and business development professionals.

Our ideal candidate is goal-oriented, exceptionally organised and has a deep knowledge of customer service best practices and B2B sales. Ultimately, you should be able to contribute to high quality customer service and exceed sales targets.

imageHOLDERS is a flat management, collaborative structure. Flexible home working, or office based pending location is available. The role offers uncapped staged commision scheme and attractive share option scheme.

Account management responsibilities include developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports. The Account Manager will also answer client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers. In this role, you will liaise with cross-functional internal teams (including Marketing, Design and Operations departments) to improve the entire customer experience. This position may require occasional travel to visit customers or attend exhibitions.


  • Operating as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to your accounts
  • Building and maintaining strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Overseeing customer account management, including negotiating contracts and agreements to maximise profit
  • Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our kiosk solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed.

Other Duties

  • From time to time all staff will be required to carry out tasks not detailed within their role.


  • Proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager, Junior Account Manager or relevant role
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software and MS Office
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Quality Engineer

Job Description

imageHOLDERS was established in 1996 and is based in Poole, Dorset. Our dedicated team are experts in the design, development and manufacture of iPad and tablet enclosure kiosks.

Our stylish and secure range of iPad and tablet enclosure kiosks and POS solutions have helped some of the world’s largest enterprises implement tablet technology in a number of environments. Components and assemblies are typically outsourced to suppliers in UK and China, with some final assembly and customisation carried out in the facility in the UK.

Quality is critical for imageHOLDERS, to delight our customers, and reduce our cost of delivery. Due to our rapid growth, we need a full-time Quality Engineer who wants to take the next step and take ownership of quality throughout the business. Specifically, on driving quality processes from concept to end of life, work with our suppliers and the iH team, and take ownership of immediate issues.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Develop, own and drive imageHolder’s Quality System, both QA and QC, in an agile and fast-moving environment.
  • Ensure the quality of components from suppliers, both specification and input quality.
  • Use CAD to output top-level drawings, define specifications, necessary to establish quality standards for suppliers (expect 20% of time spent on specification, 80% on QA).
  • Ensuring the quality of our final assemblies with assembly partners, or internal production.
  • Establish positive relationships with our suppliers and the internal team to ensure our products are the best they can be.
  • Take ownership to actively resolve specific quality issues.
  • Work with the design team to ensure specifications are correct.
  • Establish and enforce a change control process for product revisions.


Key attributes

  • Due to the diversity of this role, it would suit a good all-rounder with an engineering background.
  • Is hands-on, and can practically apply best practice quality management in an immature and developing business.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects concurrently in a fast-moving environment.
  • The flexibility of mind to work within an agile working environment
  • Good communicator, who can establish productive working relationships and build respect with the team.
  • Can use CAD to output required quality drawing and specifications. Designing in CAD not required.
  • Experience in dealing with suppliers, ideally Far Eastern.
  • Understanding of manufacturing methods and materials for batch and high volume production


Desirable skills and qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience of working as a Quality Engineer, who wants to take on more responsibility with a view to becoming a manager.
  • Experience using CAD, ideally SolidWorks.
  • Experience of PDM for maintaining data revision control
  • MS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Basic understanding of Injection Moulding, High-Pressure Die Casting, Sheet Metal Work.
  • Recognised engineering qualification, to HNC or equivalent
  • Experience working in an Engineering batch volume environment


Note: The role will require some travel both in the UK and globally to suppliers.

Design Engineer

Job Description
imageHOLDERS are looking for a high performing and enthusiastic Design Engineer. Working within a small team on multiple concurrent projects to continually improve and develop existing and new products.

The products range from metal fabricated kiosks to injection moulded enclosures and mounts, for a host of devices and solutions. 

This is the perfect role for a highly motivated individual to join a rapidly growing company. The customer base is extremely varied requiring a cross-sector product range, with the product being shipped to over 70 countries. 

The role will involve:

  • Tailoring our existing range of enclosures to individual customer requirements. This will often require problem-solving and the design of custom solutions allowing various devices to be integrated into a standard range of products.
  • Supporting sales with technical support to ensure that the solutions offered are feasible.
  • Extending the range of existing products to accommodate an ever-changing landscape of new products coming onto the market.
  • Maintenance of existing 3D and 2D data within a change control process.
  • The successful candidate should be open-minded and detail-oriented. 


Desired Skills and Experience


  • Minimum 3 years experience in an engineering role
  • Experienced user of Solidworks CAD (3D modeling and 2D drawings; 2019 preferred)
  • Experience of design for sheet metal and fabricated product
  • The ability to work as part of a team in a busy environment
  • Confident liaising with suppliers and customers
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Flexible mindset and ability to work under pressure
  • Competent user of  MS Word and Excel
  • Ability to fully specify a product for manufacture

  • HNC or Degree (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering / Product Design
  • Experience and track record considered valuable alongside a recognised engineering qualification
  • Engineering apprentice trained engineers are welcome
